Empowering the oil and gas sector

The energy sector is the largest business sector in the Bergen region with close to 30.000 workplaces, and is our most influential industry.

We aim to:

- Make the oil and gas industry and its benefits for the region visible

- Strengthen the sector by bringing in new commissions and encouraging businesses to establish local branches in the region

- Organise all regional oil-conferences into one 'offshore week'

 

- Maintain CIPR in Bergen (Center for Integrated Petroleum Reseach) – the country's only center of excellence in petroleum technology.
